Yu Shi's boy suffered a series of accidents: his father passed away in a car accident, his stepmother died of overwork and illness, and his young sister Yu Meng suffered mental damage due to traumatic brain injury. A former talented student from the Academy of Fine Arts gave up a bright artistic future in the city and shouldered the burden of taking care of Yu Meng alone.
Over the long years, he survived the hardship and strange looks from others, and accompanied Yu Meng to slowly recover, learn to paint and live life. Unable to bear the criticism from the urban world, the two moved to the southern town of Tongxi and lived in Guishu Courtyard. Yu Shi devoted himself to painting, and Yu Meng immersed himself in pottery and watercolor, and they warmed each other in the daily fireworks.
As the spring and autumn passed for decades, the sweet-scented osmanthus bloomed every year, and the brother and sister stayed together by the stream. There are no spectacular encounters, only the trivial tenderness that accompanies them day and night, bound by a lifetime of close relatives, turning the years of poverty into stability and tenderness.
Purpose: To interpret the preciousness of the company of close relatives. Being together in ordinary times is also the fulfillment of life. Supporting each other in hardships is the warmest destination in life.
