Lavina, an Amish girl, spent the first nineteen years of her life never leaving Lancaster. Her whole life was made up of patchwork, horses, sourdough bread and pasture tea. The most rebellious thing she did was to secretly watch a black-and-white movie she liked in the town while taking the steam train out for shopping. She is very satisfied with her life and has always believed that she will stick to her vows throughout her life.
When she was twenty years old, she was persuaded by her parents and friends to start the long overdue "Rumspringa", a period of thinking and deciding whether to stick to the Amish life. So she took the first flight of her life to Los Angeles to see the City of Angels that she had seen countless times in black and white movies.
Her firm mind began to crumble from the moment she stepped into Hollywood. Hang around long enough. After making herself a cup of pasture tea from her hometown of Lancaster, Lavina made her final decision.
