In December of the sixth year of Wanli (1578), Zeng Shengwu (named Que'an) was promoted to be the censor of the right capital of the Nanjing Metropolitan Procuratorate and the director of the court. On his way north from Huguang, he "passed through Pengze" to pay homage to his ancestors and wrote the "Qiaoting Ancestor's Tomb Visiting Notes", which left a record of the disputes that occurred in the Zeng family during the Jiajing period. Incident: Around 1529, the Zeng clan of Zhongxiang in Hubei came to the Zeng clan of Pengze in Jiujiang to demand property, and then the two parties went to court. In the end, the Zeng clan of Pengze burned the tablets of Yong Sigong, the ancestor of the Zhongxiang Zeng clan, and the Zhongxiang Zeng clan also moved the tomb of Yong Sigong. There was no contact between the two parties for fifty years...
