Claire changed from a maid to the daughter of a minister, but the prince did not believe it.
"Can you marry me now?" She asked with a smile.
The prince sneered, but he still only regarded her as a lowly servant.
"You saved me and my sister. If your family can convince Charburg to defect to me, I will marry you."
Claire was very happy, and that night gave the prince the ultimate obedience and joy.
The marriage is far away, and the prince is just entertaining her.
Claire is sad and powerless.
The earl's heir proposes to marry Claire.
The prince interrupted: Father, I think the marriage proposal should be negotiated, and the son of an earl cannot just wishful thinking.
Earl's son: It's consensual.
Who can trust the empty talk?
The prince will confront Claire at the morning meeting the next day.
After the meeting, the prince immediately called her.
"Your identity is always in doubt. I only need to remind the ministers and they will discover the lies about you and your family."
Claire looked at him quietly.
"You know very well what to say and what not to say. Got it?"
Claire didn't answer, but lowered her head to look at the hem of her skirt. It was the new clothes chosen for her by the earl's son.
"Back off when you know."
Claire turned and walked out of the court.
The prince breathed heavily and quickly caught up with her. He tried his best to be gentle and said, "I will ask my father to marry you tomorrow."
Claire looked up at him, and the paranoia in his eyes was unbearable.
Claire said nothing.
"Claire, I will draft a letter to your father now, and tomorrow I will formally ask to marry you in parliament. This is your previous request, and I will definitely keep my promise if I agree."
Claire stared at his gorgeous clothes indifferently.
Silence.
He composed himself, "I will summon you and your family again tomorrow to discuss marriage."
Claire is quiet.
"Back off." He looked at her with difficulty, his eyes slowly turning into pleading. Claire looked at me, replied, and promised me.
Claire bowed and left.
"Claire," he called again, and Claire stopped.
She said nothing. His heart was shaking.
"Come to my bedroom tonight at night." Claire's eyes slowly faded, but she still didn't answer, "Back off." She slowly turned her back and left. For two seconds, she seemed to have something to say, but she said nothing.
