The two met because of the "Sprout Project" food waste project. One has a strict and rigid "cold" ruler, and the other has a "hot" heart as warm as the spring breeze. An elevator failure allowed the two to get a glimpse of each other's idealism; a notebook recording the times became a bridge for them to cross industry barriers.
From the "human map" of renovating old residential areas, to the temporary dam built with shared bicycles in heavy rains; from the ideal of guarding a programming classroom for the children of migrant workers, to the three-year agreement to jointly build a "digital village" in the southwest mountainous area. In the era of rural revitalization, two "unintelligent" idealists, using data as their bones and human feelings as their flesh, tried to build a "bridge" connecting people's hearts and policies between cold policy documents and complex grassroots realities.
This is a story about ideals, reality and peers. When rigor meets gentleness, and when policies embrace people's hearts, they serve as each other's beacons in the tide of the times and become each other's staunchest "fellow travelers."
