White matter holds everything together in the final star. Climate, orbit, homing, constellation, identity, memory, as long as the system is still functioning, the planet can continue to exist.
Qin Si works in the recycling department.
Her duty is simple: to deal with those records that "no longer belong", and to resolve accidents, anomalies, and lives that failed to return. The system told her that these were noises, losses necessary to maintain the stability of the world.
She always believed it.
Until one day, she saw an operation record of her own in the system - but she had never operated it.
From then on, the world began to fall apart.
The dissolved records echoed on another level, traces of overlapping paths appeared in the space, and certain sounds that shouldn't exist became clear as she got closer to the truth.
Qin Si discovered that as long as she made a choice among those "echoes", the records in reality would be quietly rewritten.
The investigation started from the name she accidentally buried, and led to the remaining records circulating underground, the lives that were borrowed, and the living people whose death was written in advance. Her access rights continued to increase, and she was gradually drawn into corners that the system could not recognize.
Stability and reality collide, and Qin Si's world is constantly impacted.
When the final star is about to close all records to maintain operation, Qin Si must make a choice before returning home - let the world continue to be "normal", or leave traces that cannot be deleted for echoes that cannot be proven to exist.
