Silas is the most notorious dungeon master in Infinite Stream. He is pale and handsome, always with an aristocratic smile. He draws an escape plan for the players and draws a door at the end. He recites the rules to the players and mixes the escape route into ten nonsense sentences. What he collects is not death, but the light refracted at the limit of human nature.
Adrian is his steward and the true anchor of the copy. When Silas lit the fire, he controlled the temperature; when Silas demolished the house, he strengthened the beams. Everyone thought he was a poor deputy who was forced to clean up the mess, until a certain high-level player tried to kidnap him and threaten the boss - Adrian didn't move, and the water in the teacup didn't even move. He just raised his eyes, and the high-level player turned into ashes under the backlash of the rules. Then he turned back and continued ironing Silas's cloak. It's not that he can't resist, it's that he chooses to indulge.
Silas later asked him, what would you do if I was killed by a player. Adrian tied his bow tie for him, his fingertips brushed against his Adam's apple, and his tone was calm: There would be no such thing. What if there is? Adrian raised his eyes, and in those eyes that were always lowered, there was a madness that Silas had never seen before, the same kind of madness as him: Then I will destroy this copy first. The world you create can only be ended by your own hands.
It's the story of a collector who discovers there's something in his collection that defies categorization—because it's staring back at him.
A copy of the unit drama, the main storyline is slow and emotional, the two crazy characters check and balance each other, it is elegant and dark.
Intention: In the cage of fate, find the fetters and freedom beyond control.
