In his senior year of high school, Chen Monong always felt like he was trapped in a long rain.
Chinese classes, damp corridors, lights for evening self-study, and the girl Chen Qianchang who always sat by the window drawing, constituted the quietest part of his youth.
She would draw an orange cat in her sketchbook, and she would suddenly disappear on rainy days. At certain moments, she would show an expression as if she would leave at any time.
Teacher Qin said: "The love of young people is often like poetry. It is vigorous when written, but only blanks are left."
But Chen Monong doesn't understand why some people have clearly entered your life, but they are like a dream and you can't catch them.
This is a story about youth, rainy season, poetry and regret.
Purpose: to record the unspeakable emotions and regrets in boyhood, as well as the understanding of loneliness, self and farewell in the process of growing up.
