"Bluebeard" is a dark gothic fantasy story, set in the land of eternal night in the far north, outlining the mystery and treachery of the thousand-year-old black castle on the top of a lonely cliff. The castle is isolated from the rest of the world, and its interior is luxurious but devoid of fireworks. A door with a rusty copper ring at the end of the corridor hides the deepest secret of the castle.
Fatima, an aristocratic girl, became the seventh wife of Duke Bluebeard, the owner of the castle. The first six wives all disappeared mysteriously and their traces could not be found. Before going out, the Duke gave her all the keys to the castle, but strictly prohibited her from opening the mysterious door on the top floor of the tower. Curiosity gnawed at Fatima day and night, and at the stroke of midnight, the forbidden door always pulled her.
In the end, Fatima violated the ban and opened the door, accidentally revealing the Duke's true identity - an alien from the center of the earth. All the servants in the castle are machines, and she was chosen because she could not distinguish the dark blue color of his beard. The story has a dark and suspenseful tone, intertwining fate, secrets and betrayal, creating an atmosphere of gloomy depression and suspense, fully displaying the enchanting tension of Gothic fantasy.
