In road literature, Yan Ran, a 38-year-old wanderer, met Lao Li, a fellow wanderer, in Xinduqiao, starting their journey. On the way, he met photographer Yu Liang and young man Bian Qiwan, and started a journey on the Western Grand Ring Road around eight provinces.
