He had never pushed anyone to fall into the well with his own hands, but he always heard the echo from the bottom of the well late at night - it was the thing that fell from the void every time he said "I need". He wanted stability, so some people lost the right to shout; he wanted dignity, so some people were swept into the dust. It was not until later that he stood in front of the mirror and saw the faceless shadows behind the person in the mirror, that he realized that sin was never born in a moment of violence, but grew in every gap that was acquiesced.
