The personal growth of Puzhou boy Lu Mingyuan was closely intertwined with major events during the Zhenguan period - from secretary to the Provincial School Secretary and Zuo Buque's admonishment officer, to Lantian County Lieutenant and author Lang Xiu of National History, to Zhongshu Sheren, Suzhou and Hangzhou Governor, and finally to the prime minister. Like a new sprout that sprouted quietly in the dust raised by General Tiance's war horse, he spent his life practicing the motto of governing the country: "Water can carry a boat, but it can also capsize it."
Purpose: Lu Mingyuan, a young man from Puzhou, experienced the ups and downs of Zhenguan first-hand.
