Hunan embroidery has the reputation of "embroidering flowers can produce fragrance, embroidering birds can hear sounds, embroidering tigers can run, and embroidering people can convey the spirit".
In order to make all things live under the fingers, the embroiderer must first develop a pair of skillful hands that can accurately distinguish between thousands of silk threads.
Zeng Yimo had practiced for more than ten years and finally had such a pair of skillful hands.
But she later discovered that although skilled hands can separate flower threads, what is more difficult to distinguish than Hunan embroidery threads is the human heart.
