Lin Shen and Gu Huaiye are senior students at Mingyang High School. Gu Huaiye fell in love with Lin Shen because of a tutoring session. But he never said it. After graduating from high school, Gu Huaiyebi mustered up the courage to confess to Lin Shen but was rejected.
After graduating from college, Lin Shen became a doctor and Gu Huaiye became a policeman. The two met during a rescue and fell in love with each other. In the end, Lin Shen accidentally died in the line of duty during a rescue.
