Just a trial update, inspired by me and my family
In the autumn of 1979, psychiatrist Lin Shi met Yi Qi, an orphan who only knew how to draw old locust trees, in a suburban welfare institution. The girl was born with a gap in her heart and even spoke as softly as the wind, but she could use a pencil tip to draw loneliness that could penetrate into her bones.
Lin Shi gave her the word "Lin", and from then on there was Lin Yiqi in the world. They rented a small bungalow of 20 square meters next to the hospital. There was always hot water on the coal stove, and two drawing boards were placed side by side on the table late at night. Lin Shi picked up the charcoal pen that had been hidden for more than ten years, and Yi Qi's pale face smiled for the first time. They thought that if they hid it well enough, the stolen warmth would last them a lifetime.
But the wind of the 1980s could not blow away the spittle of the world. The neighbors' pointing fingers turned into red letters on the door, the parents threatened each other with death, and Yiqi's heart suddenly stopped during the quarrels. Lin Shi finally understood that her love was not salvation, but a knife hanging over Yi Qi's head.
On that foggy morning, she carried her painting supplies and left silently. For the next thirty years, on the fifteenth day of every month, the orphanage would receive a letter without a sending address. Lin Yiqi guarded the old locust tree and a box of yellowed letters, and never saw her again.
They share the same surname, but they can only send messages of concern across mountains and seas that will never receive a reply in their lifetime.
Concept: In a special era, two people crushed by fate try their best to leave a little bit of warmth for each other.
