Introduction to the story of "Thousand Paper Cranes"
In the corridors of St. Elijah High School, you can always see Song Heci and He Qianyan side by side. One is a genius academic master who is shrouded in the halo of his family, and the other is a rich third-generation "middle-class student" who deliberately hides his edge. No one knew that those after-school tutoring hours "forced" by Song Heci had already folded the first paper crane in He Qianyan's heart.
When the youthfulness of campus fades, the spotlight of the entertainment industry lights up. Song Heci has become a top actor holding the Best Actor trophy, while He Qianyan is the idol who shines brightly on the stage. The two people who seem to have nothing in common always reveal their flaws inadvertently - the fingertips touching when passing water backstage at an award ceremony, the subconscious waist-protecting movements in variety shows, and the familiar car parked downstairs of He Qianyan's apartment that was photographed by paparazzi late at night.
What surrounds them is a grand "assist": friend Jiang Chenchuan, while secretly in love with national daughter Xu Chaoyan, can't help but "leak" He Qianyan's whereabouts in front of Song Heci; director Xie Yu's appreciation of He Qianyan became the catalyst for Song Heci's secret rivalry; even Xu Chaoyan's admiration for Xie Yu accidentally made Jiang Chenchuan become Song Heci's "intelligence agent".
When the wings of the paper crane fly over the sycamore trees on campus and fly towards the neon lights of the entertainment industry, the secrets hidden in the pages will eventually turn into the grandest confession under the spotlight.
