This column is a non-fiction campus memoir, recording scattered fragments about midsummer, afternoon classrooms and the chirping of cicadas, from gold hairpins and cardamom hair to hair extensions.
There are no vigorous vows of eachother here, only casual fingertip touches between desks, only inexplicable "I'm sorry" on the overpass, and those secret heartbeats hidden in physical circuit diagrams and homework text messages. Each chapter is a journey of life that actually happened, describing how girls such as Yannuo, Ye Ming, Liang Yu, and Cheng Qi first encountered emotions in tenderness and throbbing when they were young, and how they learned to say goodbye in sobriety and distance.
Those teenagers passed through life vividly, leaving a gust of wind behind, and then went their separate ways.
Purpose: to record the ignorant and pure emotional changes in adolescence, and to explore the self-awakening and boundary sense of young girls in their growth process. Through a rational examination of "missing out" and "distance", it shows that youth is not only about perfection, but also about those who choose regrets due to fear of starting, and the true background of those who naturally dissipate due to the passage of time and space.
