Shanghai designer Xia Zi resigned and returned to Kashgar to take over his father's century-old inn "Yonganju". During the renovation, she met Zhou Qizhi, an architect who was pursuing her grandfather's memory, and together they excavated a "well of time" that spans three thousand years. With the well as the axis, they gathered craftsmen from the old city to give the old house a new life in the collision of tradition and modernity, and also allowed two wandering hearts to find their way back in the depths of time.
