In 20XX, the 37-year-old movie king Chen Man fell off a cliff and was determined to have committed suicide after investigation. Fans who couldn't accept the news were devastated and searched thoroughly for Chenman's connections. Others were fishing in troubled waters, and rumors emerged one after another. For a while, conspiracy theories arose, but eventually fell silent as time went by.
Twenty years later, the reminiscence materials of Xun Luoling, a well-known producer and long-time collaborator and friend of Chenman, were officially published and promoted under the banner of "the truth of the incident."
