History books do not record ants.
During the years when we were crossing south from Yongjia, no one would count how many people died along the Yellow River.
A general and a monk.
Two people who should have been crushed by the troubled times,
From "living" to "living",
It took them a long, long time.
——This is a story about how two people slowly learned to "live" from "living" in a corner that is not even mentioned in history books.
Slow-burning, drama-oriented, not sweet, not industrial saccharine
The historical background is before and after the southern crossing of Yongjia. There is a small amount of textual research, but the main focus is on the fate of the characters.

Dedicated to everyone who believes that "good things will happen in troubled times".
Intention: In the fifth year of Yongjia, the mountains and rivers were broken. The former monk Shang Ci walked barefoot for three hundred miles through the scorched earth, and finally understood: The sufferings that the Buddha could not overcome need someone to bear them with flesh and blood; the souls of the dead that cannot be transcended need to use silver needles and medicine stones to save the living before them. This is a story about putting down the scriptures and picking up the medicine box, taking off the cassock and putting on an apron - in a corner that even history has forgotten, two scarred people prove in the most clumsy way: troubled times can eat up everything, but they cannot swallow up the morning and evening when two ordinary people stay together. In the grand historical tragedy, the tenderness of the little people is a kind of resistance in itself.
