"Sheep" is a novel that combines rural texture and philosophy of life. The protagonist A Liang lost his mother at an early age and lived with his father, a butcher, in the countryside. He spent his childhood obsessed with maternal love, deeply estranged and deeply bonded with his father, and spending time with the sheep in the village. He witnessed the warmth and warmth of human nature and the simple rules of survival in rural society.
As an adult, A Liang ran away from home with complicated feelings about his hometown and entered a city slaughterhouse.
