That summer, Lin Ran met an unexpected person at the corner of North Street - Chen Ao.
In the afternoon of July, she came back from helping her grandmother buy oil. She walked to the old locust tree to change hands and rest her breath. When she looked up, she saw him standing at the entrance of the alley. Wearing a black T-shirt and holding a bucket of water in his hand, sweat slipped from his forehead and he didn't bother to wipe it away.
The two people were five or six meters apart, and neither of them moved.
In the end, she spoke first: "You... Live here?"
He nodded, walked over and took the oil, "I'll take you home."
