Yu Xiaoxiao is a bar guitarist who drifts to Beijing. He is poor, lonely and stubborn, and he can barely maintain his music dream in the cold winter of Beijing. Li Ya is a deaf-mute painter who makes a living by painting. He is gentle and introverted, using silence and brushes to talk to the world. Two completely different girls met at a performance where no one was listening - Li Ya told Yu Xiaoxiao with a painting: "I can understand your song."
One of them uses music and the other uses painting to plant green buds in each other's gaps. Yu Xiaoxiao wrote "Plants" for Li Ya, and Li Ya painted the light penetrating through the cracks for Yu Xiaoxiao. They exchanged tears in a hot pot restaurant, reconciled with their mother in the kitchen of their hometown, blossomed on the stage of the Weed Music Festival, and settled in a south-facing house.
This is a story about "seeing" - when the world cannot hear your voice, there is always someone who can understand your silence.
