A young man who grew up between the warmth of his ancestors and his family of origin experienced anxiety about his appearance, ups and downs in the workplace, a broken marriage, and unemployment in middle age. After losing everything, he took a bus for forty minutes every week to visit his separated daughter, and rediscovered the reason to live in his daughter's crooked crayon drawings.
