Synopsis
[Whenever the sun fades, are people who live in the dark really safe? ] Ning Ling and Lin Shanyu fell in love in the cafe outside the school. She ordered a special drink called "Mountain Rain", which was refreshing and slightly bitter, with an unknown cold aroma in the aftertaste. Then a group of people came in - she was wrapped in the middle, the girl who stood in the center of the crowd but maintained just the right boundary with everyone. Lin Shanyu. Neat and tall, he looks difficult to get along with, but he has an indescribable attraction about him. She is the most special existence in Ning Ling's three years of high school. She is the gaze that catches her every time she looks up casually. She is the name that is hidden deep in her heart and has never been spoken. One weekend, an unexpected greeting. The bright laughter made Ning Ling's fingertips tremble, touching the coldness of the cup of "Mountain Rain". The coolness penetrated along the fingerprints, and she was in a trance for a moment - that was the first real contact between them, and the beginning of all the stories. The sunshine overturns the mountain rain, and the mountain rain responds to the sunshine. She is the moist thoughts that she cannot dry out, and she is the beam of light that she cannot soak through. From high school to college, from temptation to approach, from harm to redemption—— "I killed my father just to walk in on you." You are my sunshine, I am your mountain rain. The sunshine, mountains and rain are all of the same color. She is a cup of "mountain rain" that has gone cold. She is a clear light. When light shines into the rain, the rain is no longer just rain. [The sun is approaching, and those who live in the dark will find their own sun] Concept: Love is not just a form of tenderness. Sometimes it comes in the form of hurt—pushing away, lying, or even using the most vicious words disguised as disgust—just to protect the other person from being consumed by their own darkness. The real redemption is to dare to kill the source of all this, and then come back covered in blood, stand in front of the person who has been hurt, admit all the lies, and hand over the rest of his life to her judgment. The story explores: How many things does a person have to destroy before he can love someone cleanly? Those "disgusting things" that were forced to be spoken out, those connections that were forced to be severed, those sins and punishments that one has to bear alone - when the darkness all comes from the closest bloodline, ending it with one's own hands is the only way out. In the end, the sun shines, the mountains rain. When light shines into the rain, the rain is no longer just rain; when the rain falls into the light, the light has a sound. The so-called redemption is not to be forgiven, but to finally dare to put your true self in front of the other person.
