When Jiang Hansheng was twelve years old, he listened to a young man playing a piece outside the window. She hummed the chorus for him that he couldn't write. Years later, she became a forensic doctor who advocated for the rights of the living and the dead; and he became an emergency physician, fighting against death.
Until that day when she accidentally hummed the refrain that had never been made public, he stopped all movements. When he wrote that song, he thought the title was Sound from the Window. It was many years later that I realized that the sound was the sound of Sheng.
Intention: I am not someone's salvation or someone's shadow. I have experienced trauma, but the trauma did not define me; I met love, but love did not save me. It's those roads that I have walked through that have made me who I am.
