Lan is a mermaid who is deeply loved by his tribe. He heard stories about humans from his mother, and the legend that a mermaid once landed ashore and blended into the human world.
One day he came out of the water to watch the sunset, and saw a group of humans making a fire and resting on the shore not far away. He looked curiously for a while, and saw a human sitting on the beach in a daze looking at the shells exposed in the sand, and suddenly looked up at him.
