After graduating from Hogwarts, Leanne went to the Muggle world to study for a PhD in clinical and counseling psychology.
In 1993, due to the prominent mental health problems among Hogwarts students, Dumbledore invited Leanne to serve as the "Hogwarts Distinguished Psychological Counselor".
Since then, Hogwarts has had a small psychological clinic.
