The story takes place in the fictional city "Yangcheng City" from the late 1990s to the beginning of this century. It combines criminal investigation, suspense and inexplicable fantasy that cannot be thought through. While investigating a series of serial cases, detective Qu Shu gradually discovers that his childhood friend Tang Mian and his old acquaintance Du Sunzi are involved in an old case.
An unresolved old case, some speculations that people don't want to think about in detail, a choice about "emotion or justice", everyone is pushed to a fork in the road of fate that cannot be turned back. (I can't make it up anymore)
Intention: People are pushed forward by the tide of destiny
