Deep in the Qinling Mountains, young beekeeper Qin Chunyang guards more than 70 hives of bees passed down from his father's generation. Faced with the dilemma of poor flowering and poor harvests in consecutive years, he made a decision: he will no longer wait for spring at the old mountain farm, but will take the beehives and follow the flowering season.
Starting from the first buzzer of late winter in the Qinling Mountains, we passed through the golden sea of rapeseed flowers in Luoping, passed through the relay flower fields in northern Sichuan and the milkvetch in the Hanshui River Valley, to the clear season when the acacias pressed down on the slopes of our hometown, and then turned to the hot wind of jujube forest and the long slopes of vitex. He followed the flowers from station to station, moving forward inch by inch with the work he was doing.
His wife Ye Rou keeps the books and order in the rear, his father Qin Shoucheng gradually relaxes from hesitation, and the child grows up day by day on the other end of the phone. The old bees who are traveling with him, the drivers on the road, and the local folks all leave their own warmth on this road to chase spring.
Life is like honey, it doesn't become sweet all at once. It has to be brewed slowly by a family, a group of bees, and a journey.
Concept: Days are like honey, a little bit of honey makes it a little bit sweeter. Spring is not far away, but comes naturally with the daily buzz of buzzes, the smell of rice and the company of family members.
