Neon and scale
One year after graduation, Su Nian finally entered the design studio of his choice. The person who interviewed him was Lu Zeyan, the founder of the studio. He was young and promising, with a rigorous style and an aloof aura that kept strangers away from him. He originally thought that this was just an ordinary employment relationship, and that he only needed to work hard and establish a foothold in the big city.
As assistants, Su Nian and Lu Zeyan contacted the project, revised the plan, and went to the site to measure the room. He is careful, calm, and thorough in his work. He can always inadvertently take care of the details that others ignore, and he gradually understands the fatigue and persistence under the silence of this cold boss.
Lu Zeyan rarely showed his emotions to others, but he would hand him a box of biscuits when he was busy and forgot to eat, discuss drawings with him late at night when working overtime, and hand a clean towel to him when it rained suddenly. The two gradually became familiar with each other while working side by side, and became the most understanding partners from superiors and subordinates.
The city's neon lights flash night after night, and the scales on the drawings are precise and clear. They walked side by side in the reinforced concrete city, accompanied each other on countless overtime nights, and supported each other under industry competition and real pressure.
There is no grand confession, only the company of a steady stream. Su Nian slowly walked into Lu Zeyan's tight and restrained world, and Lu Zeyan became his most stable support in his wandering life.
It turns out that the best encounter is when someone understands your silence and helps you turn trivial daily life into a long-term time worth cherishing.
Intention: Warm each other in struggle, and grow together in perseverance.
