Shooting star
Chen Mingshuo's life has always been shrouded in an airtight shadow by his mother's strength. Long-term repression has made him introverted and cold, and he is used to building high walls of silence to isolate himself from all those who try to get closer. Due to his mother's job transfer, he was forced to move back to his old house on No. 17 Street after many years of absence, and transferred to No. 17 Experimental High School.
The new environment failed to melt his alienation until the boy named Xie Xingyun crashed into his world. Xie Xingyun is the most eye-catching presence in the school: he never pays attention to classes and skipping classes for no reason is a common occurrence. His long hair is half-tied and dyed with a few strands of gray-green, growing wantonly like weeds, with a freshness and freedom that Chen Mingshuo has never had before.
When they passed each other in the corridor for the first time, Xie Xingyun bumped into him casually with a candy in his mouth, raised his eyes and smiled, which shook Chen Mingshuo's eyes. From then on, Xie Xingyun always loved to appear in his world: notes handed to him in class, followed on the way to school, half a cigarette shared on the rooftop. Chen Mingshuo's frozen heart cracked open little by little under Xie Xingyun's warm and clumsy approach.
The evening breeze on No. 17 Street and the rooftop of Experimental High School have become their secret habitats. In Xie Xingyun, Chen Mingshuo experienced the feeling of breaking free from restraint for the first time; Xie Xingyun also understood Chen Mingshuo's tenderness hidden under his coldness in Chen Mingshuo's silence. An encounter that began by chance, like a fleeting meteor across the night sky, short but dazzling, tightly entangled two completely different souls with an invisible red thread, and they can no longer be separated.
Purpose: I just want to write a youthful story about two teenagers who are experiencing growing pains in their youth.
