In order to realize their dream of sailing around the world, six sailing enthusiasts set off from Sydney on a sailing boat and sailed across the Pacific to Cape Horn along the roaring westerly belt between 50 and 56 degrees south latitude. This is the most dangerous and challenging route in the world. Some people said they gambled their lives on their dreams, and some advised them to give up, but they set sail resolutely. During the 40-day voyage, they experienced damage to the ship, injuries to people, frightening low temperatures, and almost emotional collapse during the extreme loneliness. In the endless suffering, I sailed six thousand nautical miles, crossing Point Nemo and the Drake Passage, and engraved the track of a Chinese sailing ship in Cape Horn for the first time.
The captain is the author of this book, and he personally tells a true journey between man and the ocean, strength and tenderness from a first-person perspective.
