The late night wind carried the depression. The impoverished Jiang Chi held on to his meager balance and swallowed his last mouthful of oden. Unemployment and livelihood pressure hit his face. Full of defiance, he pretends to be free and easy, and he bears the embarrassment and ups and downs of life alone.
The gentle and reserved doctor Gu Muchen came to the end of his busy day and bumped into the destitute Jiang Chi. Knowing that he had scrawled on every meal, suffered from old wounds, and was in a desperate situation in life, he calmly showed his gentle preference and brought warmth to break Jiang Chi's embarrassment.
From getting to know each other as a doctor and a patient, through two-way testing on the street late at night, I shed all the layers of pretense. Gu Muchen extended a helping hand in the name of shared renting, tolerated his unruliness and eased his difficulties. Two completely different people rush to each other in the long night, resolve the suffering with gentleness, and start two-way redemption.
