Ban Chao, also known as Zhongsheng, joined the army with thirty-six men and entered the Western Regions. He conquered more than fifty countries and opened up the Silk Road. He did not return for thirty years. The history book takes half a page to write about this incident. But this book is written behind the half page:
* He knocked off a man's helmet during a chaotic battle in Puleihai. He picked up the helmet and kept it under his baggage for thirty years.
*His wife was a Sogdian businessman. She followed him as far as she could. Finally, she said, "Look, I will follow you as far as I told you." Then she closed her eyes.
* Whenever he stands at a fork in his destiny, there will be another person sitting opposite him, looking at him with the eyes of a scholar: "Do you think you are winning?"
A thirty-year loneliness that no one could finish for him.
Intention: To write and join the army, to feel the feelings of family and country, to guard against loneliness
