"Orange Night" is an urban love novel about trauma, healing and two-way running.
Eighteen-year-old Xin Yue escaped from her native family and came to Suzhou University to study design. Not long after school started, she was pestered by a man with ill intentions in a bar. Fortunately, psychological counselor Yan Jin came to her rescue. Yan Jin is cold and restrained, but falls in love with Xin Yue at first sight; Xin Yue is lively and smart, but instinctively avoids close relationships - the trauma of being violated by a neighbor boy when she was three years old is like a dark thunder, dormant in her heart for eighteen years.
From taking in someone after being drunk, to silently guarding her during the debate; from the hot milk tea in Huxinting Pavilion, to the cake she made by herself on her birthday. Yan Jin used extreme patience and gentleness to melt the ice in Xin Yue's heart bit by bit. And Xin Yue also used her enthusiasm and sincerity to let Yan Jin learn to express and love. They found a sense of home in each other: Xin Yue's grandmother was open-minded and accepting, Yan Jin's second uncle silently guarded them, and their close friends accompanied and blessed them all the way. From school uniforms to wedding dresses, the two held their wedding in the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland, and raised a cow cat named "Durian Honey" amidst the ordinary fireworks.
The oranges and tangerines will not move away, and the night will always be bright. This is a story about "worth it" - Yan Jin said "you are worth it" and Xin Yue said "so are you". In those unknown dark places, they are each other's stars, lighting up each other's lives.
Intention: The pain encountered in growing up will always be healed by the eternal starlight.
