When Qin Shihuang died, Zhao Gao tampered with the imperial edict and established Hu Hai, forcing Fusu to death.
Fusu was reincarnated as Li Si's son Li You (Duan Lue), and Zhao Gao spread rumors of "reincarnation" and framed Li Si by burning books and humiliating Confucians.
Na Ye of the Eight Lai Sect led eight steps to snatch Li You. Na Ye was also inspired by the heart of perfection. He rebelled and rescued the baby Li You and entrusted him to Zen Master Zhenru to escape into the Three Realms.
Li Si was deceived by Zhao Gao into thinking that his son had been kidnapped by the Five Confucian scholars and founded the Six Gates.
Step Two: Ten Years of Hibernation
Ten years later, when Duan grew up, he witnessed the massacre of innocent people at Liugenmen and was tracked by the Eight-Step Tianlong Camp.
Zen Master Zhenru killed the Four Heavenly Dragons to protect his path and finally passed away. Duan Liao looked for five Confucian scholars to study with hatred and confusion.
The third step: become a disciple and practice. Get rid of inner demons
Duan Liao found the five disabled Confucian scholars in turn and learned the five magical powers. In order to fight against the Eight Lai and the remaining four heavenly dragons, Duan Liao began to practice:
-Fight in the dead silence and get rid of impulse; -Use illusions to break your inferiority complex and face your fears;
-Cut off your ego, live towards death, and your realm will soar.
Finally entering a new realm and meeting Na Ye who had escaped from the world, the two reunited.
Step 4: Proving the Ordinary Way
Ba Lai sensed Na Ye's trace and blessed the remaining four dragons. Na Ye died in the battle to protect him.
After losing a dear friend, I completely got rid of my ego and realized that "the ordinary is the way".
He used the power of Wuqiao Samadhi to disintegrate the six gates and expose Zhao Gao's conspiracy. In the end, he had a decisive battle with the Eight Lamas, and with the supreme state of "immovable throughout the Dharma Realm", he defeated the Eight Lamas who controlled the Alaya Consciousness, and put an end to the catastrophe of the Three Realms.
Duan gave up power, returned to ordinary life, and became a true "strong man without form".
