Night Breeze Encounters the Starry River: Synopsis
Illustrator Su Wan unexpectedly reunited with her ex-boyfriend Lu Xingci, whom she had not contacted for seven years, at a dinner party. The two were childhood sweethearts in the past, and their love was pure when they were young. However, Lu Xingci suddenly left without saying goodbye, leaving Su Wan in a seven-year memory dilemma.
On the night of the reunion, Lu Xingci's appearance broke the calm that Su Wan was trying to maintain. She hurriedly fled as the alienated "Mr. Lu". However, the memories of the past are difficult to suppress. In Su Wan's creation and life, imprints related to Lu Xingci appear everywhere, and the turmoil in Su Wan's heart cannot be calmed down.
On the other side, Lu Xingci has been paying attention to Su Wan since returning to China. Back then, in order to treat his seriously ill younger brother, he was forced to go abroad with his whole family, and he cruelly broke off contact with him. Now that his younger brother has recovered, he shoulders the determination to make amends and protect him, and takes the initiative to approach Su Wan, using work opportunities to create intersections.
Her best friend noticed Su Wan's mood swings and tried her best to persuade her to stay away. But Lu Xingci's pressing step by step and his long-planned tenderness made Su Wan repeatedly torn between resistance and heartbeat. Behind the seven years of estrangement are unspoken difficulties and deep love.
This belated reunion is not only a test of old love, but also the beginning of new love. Lu Xingci is determined to make up for his past debts, while Su Wan needs to make the final choice between letting go of the past and accepting new emotions.
Concept: The core concept of "Evening Breeze Meets the Stars" can be summarized in one sentence: time can block reunion, but it cannot erase true love. It is an adult ceremony about "relief and choice".
