The novel revolves around two girls, Mika and Yuine: Mika transfers her longing for a complete relationship to her mother due to the absence of her father; Yuine, because of the early death of her sister, is trying to become the shadow of the deceased under the weight of family expectations. The two looked for alternative emotional sustenance in each other, forging a profound and doomed symbiotic relationship that was destined to collapse, and finally found their own way to survive with the trauma in the wreckage of the relationship.
Purpose: To explore how an individual is in a family of origin with structural deficiency (absence of father) and emotional bonding (symbiosis of mother and daughter) from the beginning of her existence, how she will go through a huge mental dilemma, and ultimately complete a tragic and imperfect self-construction through misunderstanding, use, harm and mutual help with others; and to explore how an individual's existence is in a family from the beginning. When faced with a repressive family atmosphere of meritocracy and a huge trauma after failing to mature her mind, how will she complete a spiritual transformation through compensatory behavior (self-rescue) and inner reconstruction, find her future direction, and avoid being affected by harsh and cold parents who should have a healthy and growing personality, causing her to blame herself for all mistakes and "go astray".
