Ji Wan, a terminally ill painter, believed in the starry sky throughout her life. At the end of her life, she posted a message asking to see the real Milky Way. Space station astronaut Shuo Ruiwen is her loyal reader.
A dialogue across heaven and earth begins: Shuo Ruiwen uses the naked eye as a mirror to describe the universe, and Ji Wan uses a paintbrush as light to freeze her love. In the end, Ji Wan bid farewell with a portrait that hides the entire universe, making their bond an eternity spanning light years.
