A master's degree in food studies from Columbia University traveled through time and became a palace maid in the Song Dynasty
My graduation thesis was about the diet of the Song Dynasty, and then I really came across it.
Dressed as a palace maid sweeping the floor in the royal garden.
On my first day at work, I picked up a little emperor in the corner.
Eight years old, as thin as a cat, with an "I'm not happy" look on his face.
I have an occupational disease - this child is malnourished.
So I secretly opened a small stove in the imperial dining room: fried rice with eggs, sweet-scented osmanthus cake, and Fengzhen big meat noodles.
He asked me: "How come your food tastes better than the imperial kitchen?"
I said, "Because I have a master's degree from Columbia."
He couldn't understand. But he finished all the food.
After eating, he wrote me a note: "Ah Heng, I still want to eat tomorrow."
I replied: "Okay. But you have to study hard."
Later he learned to write love letters to me.
The first letter: "No changes allowed for a hundred years."
Second letter: "You are mine."
The third letter: "I will marry you when I grow up."
The thirteen-year-old emperor learned to talk about love on notes.
And in the Song Dynasty, I became a queen from a palace maid.
Intention: I dress up as a Song Dynasty palace maid, and the little emperor says he has someone in his heart.
