An unexpected encounter made Qi An, the proud man of heaven, and Qi Zhishu, a young man from the mountains, spend an entire summer in an adobe courtyard and on a country road. From tit-for-tat to mutual sympathy, young feelings quietly grew in the mountains and fields, but ended abruptly due to a misunderstanding and separation. From then on, they were separated from each other, leaving only a distant wait.
After five years of separation, the youth of the past has faded away, a man has taken root in the countryside and devoted himself to poverty alleviation, and a trained doctor has gone to the grassroots. They meet again in this land that carries all the throbbing of youth. The estrangement and regret that once stood between the two people, as well as the unspoken thoughts and concerns, surged again in the days of working together day and night.
The heartbeat of youth has never faded, and the waiting in the years will eventually echo. Can those missed times and forbearance be able to find the lost each other when we meet again?
Purpose: Two-way growth does not mean two-way perfection. Life is the conservation of regrets.
