Caesar didn't know where the new guest at home came from. His father was in awe of him, his mother was afraid of him, and his servants dared not look directly at him. Caesar was ordered never to appear in his presence.
Looking at the knife he had lost and recovered, Caesar felt that the guest was very nice.
He would listen to Caesar's unappreciated thoughts, hunt with Caesar, and even go on adventures with Caesar in the dead of night.
Later, the guests left.
No one in the manor said anything about him.
Caesar thought it was a friend he had imagined when he was young.
When he was seventeen years old, the Keville family fell. On the day he was kicked out of the manor, Caesar met the guest again.
"Will you come with me, Caesar?"
Caesar agreed.
Caesar didn't know that he would never leave the manor full of bluebells.
The devil didn't know that he fell in love with a human being.
