The heartbeat is the truth that cannot be hidden. Purpose: This article uses Gotham's serial murders as clues to tell the story of Bruce Wayne, the guardian of the night, and Hotchner, the order profiler, who join forces to hunt down the murderers. Both of them are burdened with a heavy past. They get closer to each other and redeem each other in trials and confrontations. From tit-for-tat to mutual trust, they finally find a destination side by side between the abyss and the light. The work aims to express: darkness and order are not opposites, perseverance and tenderness can eventually overcome barriers, and love and justice can withstand the long night.
