The pain caused by family takes a lifetime to heal, unless we meet that person. The warmth I encountered later was like new flesh growing on a wound, tender and red, fragile, but alive. It proves that trauma can be not an end, but a turning point.
What your family doesn't give you, the world will give you in another way. There will be someone who will hug you through all the thorns you put up, someone who will still love you when you least deserve to be loved. You don't need to thank the hurt, but you can thank the person who still chooses to open yourself up after the hurt.
All wounds are waiting for a light to come in. And the light will really come.
Intention: The future is always worth looking forward to
