This work is based on the social changes in Xinghua City, Jiangsu Province from 2010 to 2019. Through multiple perspectives such as ordinary families, entrepreneurs, traditional craftsmen, and returning youth, this work panoramically depicts the exploration and pain of urbanization, industrial transformation, cultural inheritance, and ecological protection of this waterside city. The novel uses fifteen key year nodes as chapters to deeply describe major social processes such as the rise of the "Qianduo Cauliflower" tourism brand, the transformation of the stainless steel industry, the ecological protection of the Lixia River, and the revitalization of traditional villages, showing the persistence and innovation of the people of the small town in the changing era of the old and the new.
Purpose: Deeply cultivate the hometown and find memories
