After rummaging through my old collection, I discovered that when I was seventeen years old, I used a half-written and half-white pen to write down a sheet full of my thoughts. There is attachment to one's alma mater; there is sober questioning of reality; there is determination and abandonment of interpersonal relationships; there is also confusion and encouragement for oneself. The stubbornness, sensitivity, unwillingness and tenderness between the lines are the most vivid aspects of young people.
Reading it again now, although I feel that the text is green, I can still be moved by myself back then——
It turns out that I have lived so passionately, loved so seriously, and moved forward so stubbornly.
This book is written for your past self, and for everyone who has been confused, struggled, and worked hard to shine in your youth. I hope we can all find the young man with the light in his eyes in the old ink.
Purpose: to record the confusion, arrogance and tenderness of youth, and to use old poems to preserve the freshness and enthusiasm of youth, so that everyone who reads it can be reminded of their own seventeen years old.
