This book is a continuation of the Machiavellian novel "The Legend of Heaven and Dragon Sword". It takes the changes in Guangmingding's wedding as a starting point to reshape Zhou Zhiruo's fate. It tells the legendary story of scholar Shen Bing and Emei master Zhou Zhiruo, who achieved each other's success in both literature and martial arts. From establishing themselves in the world to helping the Ming Dynasty rebel against the Yuan Dynasty, they finally retired after success.
Guangmingding gets married, Zhang Wuji abandons the marriage, Zhou Zhiruo breaks her clothes and is righteous, and her emotional wounds are hard to heal. Shen Bing, the young minister of Dali Temple, stepped forward and was later invited to Emei as a guest. He used his death advice to awaken Zhou Zhiruo, who was addicted to love and was obsessed with martial arts. With his power and wisdom and modern management thinking, he established rules and regulations for Emei, solved the financial difficulties, and helped him become famous in the Lion Slaying Conference.
The two worked hand in hand to assist Zhu Yuanzhang in expelling the Yuanlu and witnessing the change of dynasty. However, they saw through the coldness of the emperor's power and saw through the iron law of history of "the rabbit dies and the dog cooks". In the end, they put down their power and fame, traveled west to live in seclusion, and found a place of spiritual freedom. Emei was also preserved because of their arrangement.
The work breaks out of the traditional martial arts framework of gratification and grudges, takes power as the core, history as the foundation, and integrates modern values. It not only restores the core of Jin Yong's family and country, but also gives Zhou Zhiruo an independent and sober "Caesar" female image. It depicts Shen Zhou and Shen Zhou's intimate friendship as equals, and has both classical charm and humanistic depth.
Intention: Zhou Zhiruo's perfect ending
