In Qinglan Women's College, the most decent thing is never grades, but silence.
After being transferred to the experimental class, Mei Zhiyao quickly discovered that this school was good at renaming everything that shouldn't exist. The missing students, the rewritten files, the closed old gymnasium annex building, and those old events that were downplayed as "personal reasons" and "accidents" all seemed to have the same invisible processing system hidden behind them.
Wen Yan is the sharpest part of this order. She is calm, restrained, and always stands within the rules, but again and again at the most dangerous points, she pushes Mei Zhiyao in the direction of survival.
Mei Zhiyao originally thought that she just wanted to find out the truth. Later, she discovered that what she wanted to know more was why someone like Wen Yan would maintain order while secretly leaving a way for her.
From testing and guarding, to working side by side and losing control, they followed a page of receipt records, a memory card, and a string of abnormal numbers, tearing open the school's best "decent closure" bit by bit. But when the truth really approaches, the price changes from future and reputation to real life and death.
Some people are used to writing everything as standard answers.
Someone always has to hand in the answer sheet that has been silent for too long.
Purpose: to uncover the hurt buried under institutional silence and decent silence, and to write about how two people who see each other in a high-pressure order and try to keep each other complete their answers to themselves and the world between truth, price and love.
