In the winter of 1987, I was born into a family of ordinary miners in Wuda San Mine, Wuhai. In the coal dust-covered mining area and the cold wind, my parents used their meager wages and smiling eyes to make their poor life warm. But when I was three years old, my beloved grandfather passed away due to illness, and then my parents separated. As a young child, I was left with only my grandma holding my hand, walking step by step through the cold and warmth of Wuhai under the soot-filled sky. This is the memory of a miner's child growing up, as well as the fireworks and nostalgia that belong to Wuhai.
Purpose: Taking the miners' families of Wuhai Wuda No. 3 Mine as the background, it records the joys and sorrows of ordinary miners' families under the changing times, shows the strength of miners' children to persist in warmth and grow up in the face of difficulties, and conveys the cherishment of homeland, family ties and ordinary life.
